Amy and Colin, both lifelong Alaskans, invite you into their home and look forward to sharing their knowledge about Alaska with you. Colin was raised in Healy and has a great deal of knowledge about the local area. Amy was raised on the Kenai Peninsula, and enjoys sharing information about Southcentral Alaska. Both are graduates of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.

Colin and Amy's home is graced by flowers and attractive landscaping.

The family also includes two children, Zoë and Abel, and a friendly dog, Kalie the Weimaraner. Children are welcome in their non-smoking home.

Because of the myriad of activities offered in and around Denali National Park, Valley Vista guests will never lack for things to do. Here are just a few of the activities that Amy and Colin recommend:

• Travel to Wonder Lake on park shuttle system
• View North America's tallest peak, Mt. McKinley (20,320 ft.)
• Photograph grizzly bear, dall sheep, willow ptarmigan and moose
• Go on ranger guided hikes
• Attend evening ranger programs
• Participate in dog sled demonstrations
